Full time Position
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and purchase, from concept to commission, of automated manufacturing equipment to reduce assembly cycle times and improve product quality
- Upgrade of existing, standard equipment with robotic, automated features
- Managing CAPEX projects within timeframe, budget and performance expectations
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules and repair of equipment
- Create manufacturing documentation such as Safe Operating Procedures, Start-up/Shutdown, Spare Parts Lists, etc.
- Develop and maintain key supplier relationships
Desired Skills/Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years in same or similar role
- Experience with control systems including PLC’s
- Demonstrated knowledge and abilities of electrical and mechanical systems
- AutoCad, Inventor or SolidWorks experience desired
- Machining experience with lathes or mills, manual or CNC, a plus
- Logical, analytical and problem solving skills required
- Works well in a cross-functional, open-communication environment
